Job Summary/Basic Function

General Position Description:
The Temporary Administrative Assistant (TAA) reports directly to the Vice President for Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Intercultural Affairs. He or she performs assigned essential general duties independently, effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner, with minimal supervision.

The primary responsibility of the TAA is to provide high level and high quality clerical, as well as special project administrative support to the Vice President and his office within a fast-paced and team-centered work environment. In partnership with the Executive Associate and other divisional staff, the TAA works to ensure the overall success of the Division of Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Intercultural Affairs (GLODIIA). He or she must be committed to Global Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Social Justice and be supportive of the mission of the Division.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate Degree and 1-3 years of related clerical and administrative support experiences, including graphic design, preferably in a college setting.
