Position Summary Information

Job Summary/Basic Function

• Creates web user interface using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Administers, configures, updates and customizes Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Updates library website as needed
• Creates and maintain internal documentation
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Management Information Systems or related field

• Experience supporting a content management system
• Experience working with XHTML, HTML, CSS and various software applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite and other text and image editing software
• Two or more years of related experience
• Prior experience in an academic environment preferred

• Reports to the Systems Coordinator

• Current web and digital content technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, & XML
• Standards of interoperability, usability and accessibility for the web
• Metadata standards and digital repository best standards
• Familiar with social media and third-party APIs

• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
• Applying software application development tools
• Designing and performing usability testing on library website
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others
• Excellent written and verbal communication
