Job Summary/Basic Function

Duties: The Department of Psychology at Lamar University invites applications for a tenure track position in Clinical Psychology at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank beginning in August 2017.

The Psychology Department has a master’s program in Applied Psychology with concentrations in I/O Psychology and Clinical Psychology.

We seek an excellent teacher and researcher with the ability to teach psychometrics, psychotherapy and personality and intellectual assessment at the graduate level as well as to contribute to the large undergraduate program. The individual will also be responsible for supervising graduate student theses and serving on committees at the departmental, college and university levels.

Lamar University is part of the Texas State University System, with a total student enrollment of approximately 15,000.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and licensure as a psychologist.
