Position Summary Information

Job Summary/Basic Function

Lamar University invites applications for a one year instructor position in Chemistry. The position is available in Fall 2017 pending final funding. Salary is negotiable based upon qualifications and experiences. The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

With a recently completed $7 million renovation to our facilities, we are seeking a motivated teacher and researcher preferably in the fields of Analytical or Forensic Chemistry.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of an earned Master’s degree in Chemistry.

Candidates are expected to have a commitment to education at all levels, be capable of supervising undergraduate research and maintaining laboratory instruments such as GC, GC-MS, HPLC and NMR.
