Position Summary Information

Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice announces an opening for adjunct instructor position for Fall 2015. There is a possibility for the position to be extended as a full-time position upon the university budgetary situation and the individual’s performance.

Minimum Qualifications

M.A. or Ph.D. in Sociology at the time of appointment is preferred; but graduate students with at least 18 credit hours in sociology will be considered. The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring, and be able to teach Intro to Sociology and Social Problems. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Screening of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
